Florida FBA Warehouses

Amazon FBA Warehouses in Florida — 2026 State Guide

Florida hosts 17+ Amazon facilities across 13 cities, serving the nation's third-largest state population (23 million) plus millions of annual tourists. The Sunshine State's peninsular geography creates unique logistics challenges — everything must come in from the north via I-75 or I-95.

Major fulfillment clusters

Central Florida (I-4 Corridor) The I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando is Amazon's Florida backbone:

  • MCO1 (Orlando, 2.4M sqft) — massive robotics FC, Central Florida's anchor
  • TPA1 (Ruskin, 1.1M sqft) — Tampa-area FC
  • TPA2 (Lakeland, 1M sqft) — bulk FC, sits between Tampa and Orlando on I-4

Jacksonville

  • JAX2 (Jacksonville, 2.3M sqft) — major I-95/I-10 junction hub

Jacksonville is Amazon's gateway to Florida from the north, sitting where I-95 (East Coast corridor) meets I-10 (transcontinental corridor). JAXPORT also handles container shipping.

South Florida

  • MIA1 (Miami) — serves the densely populated Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach tri-county area

What Florida FBA sellers should know

  1. Peninsular logistics — Florida doesn't have the interstate crossroads that states like Indiana or Texas enjoy. Inventory flowing into Florida comes primarily from Georgia via I-75 (west) or I-95 (east).

  2. Hurricane season (June–November) — Amazon has well-established storm protocols, but hurricanes can close facilities, disrupt trucking, and delay shipments for days. Build Q3–Q4 inventory buffers.

  3. Year-round heat and humidity — Protect moisture-sensitive products in all seasons. Florida's climate is subtropical to tropical.

  4. Tourist economy — Florida's seasonal population swings mean demand patterns differ from most states. Q1 (winter snowbird season) is busier than in northern states.

  5. I-4 congestion — I-4 between Tampa and Orlando is consistently ranked among the most dangerous and congested highways in the US. Allow extra time for TPA2/MCO1 deliveries.
